What a vCard QR is
vCard is a standard format for contact information. Pack your name, phone, email, company, title, and website into one QR, and scanning it makes the phone show an 'Add to contacts' screen immediately.
Compared to retyping from a paper card, it saves the contact in seconds with zero typos — especially effective at sales meetings, events, and networking.
Making one on this site
In the 'Create QR' tab, choose the 'vCard' type and enter your name (required) plus phone, email, company, title, and website (optional). The preview generates as you type.
Everything runs in your browser — the contact details you enter are never sent to a server. Download as SVG for print or PNG for screens.
Printing tips for business cards
The safest layout is a large QR (at least 1.5×1.5cm) on the back of the card. If it goes on the front, keep clear space so it doesn't collide with your logo or name.
The more information you include, the denser the code. For small prints like business cards, keeping just the essentials (name, phone, email) makes the QR simpler and easier to scan.
Good to know
This is a static QR — it never expires and needs no subscription. But because the contact data lives inside the code, you must regenerate the QR when your number or company changes.
Make it a habit to refresh the QR before reprinting cards, so the printed code never drifts out of sync with your real contact info.
